I am Mai—an engineer by training and a mother transformed by raising my daughter with Down syndrome. My professional life was once defined by logic, structure, and predictability; now it's shaped by a fierce love that has taught me to embrace uncertainty and chase possibility.

Motherhood dismantled my old beliefs about strength and control. Through my daughter, I've discovered patience that stretches, adaptability I never imagined, and the unshakable power of unconditional love. Along the way, I've worn many hats: advocate, educator, researcher, comforter, "artist of chaos," and fierce keeper of dreams. Above all, I believe in a world that makes room for different abilities.
